Today, Chloe presented her work to understand how the six-subunit autophagy tethering complex interacts with ATG8s. By using biochemical pull-downs, and the Alphafold machine learning algorithm, Chloe is closing in on the elusive answer to how this critical tether interacts with this key autophagosome peripheral protein.

On another front, Hannah presented her impressive work in determining the functional components of the autophagy tethering factor, EPG5. Her high-level presentation abilities and stellar slides made quite an impact on the audience!
