After a hurricane of scientific activity it is all Sunny outside. One of the Yip lab's favorite proteins, EPG5, is understood a little bit better now after Sunny published the first Cryo-EM structure of this human autophagy tethering factor. His work has allowed us to better visualize EPG5, and better understand its interaction with ATG8s.

When approached for a picture, Sunny merely looked stoically into the distance, his mind clearly filed with new and innovative ideas (either that or he did not hear me). So in leu of a photo we contracted a highly skilled artist to interpret the event.
